ABOUT ME
My name is Bia, I am a Portuguese artist with a degree in clinical psychology. I've been creative for as long as I've been alive, always drawing in the margins of textbooks or corners of tables. Living between Porto and Aveiro, I take advantage of my commutes to read, especially works of fantasy and romance, which serve as a source of inspiration for my illustrations. I often work with budding authors to bring their characters to life. I also enjoy creating and editing short animatics that capture the essence of characters and scenes that still images cannot. In my spare time, I skate, crochet and try to publish scientific articles.

The Dark We Summon is an interactive story written, illustrated and produced by me for the platform Glow.art."At the Witchcraft University of Waterhouse, long-time academic rivals Thea and Hadrian are forced to work together under their new thesis mentor, Sirr. When a reckless summoning unleashes Creptlings, parasitic creatures that feed on magic, Sirr is accused, and the duo join forces to prove his innocence. As students fall victim to the creatures, their rivalry threatens to twist into something else, and Sirr is drawn to them in ways he never anticipated."
